Walled Lake Schools’ PTA groups host fundraisers for students

PTA fundraisers were recently held at elementary schools throughout the Walled Lake Consolidated School District to benefit student activities.

Throughout the school year, the fundraisers for each building assist provide funding for various PTA activities and events.

Walled Lake Schools issued a news statement that explained the events and how the money would be utilized.


The Color Fun Run was held on Oct. 1 at Commerce Elementary, with earnings going to assemblies, author visits, classroom materials, and PTA scholarships.

Throughout September, Dublin Elementary held an autumn Mumkin sale, which consisted of mums in a pumpkin planter. The sale’s proceeds were intended to go toward fifth-grade camp, field trips, field day, classroom materials, and a new track.

Dublin Principal Danielle Bigi said, “We are appreciative to the Dublin community for supporting our fall Mumkin sale.” “The money raised from this sale will help our PTA support our Dublin students and staff in a variety of ways, including funding for our new track.”

In addition to the resumption of its fun run in September, Glengary Elementary sponsored a fall Mumkin sale. – Source
